 Thinking regionally... acting locally.What is the Calgary Regional Partnership (CRP)? We are an incorporated association of nineteen municipalities and communities in the Calgary Region from Banff in the west, to Crossfield in the north, to Wheatland County in the east, to Nanton in the south with Calgary at its centre. The Calgary Regional Partnership’s motto “thinking regionally and acting locally” applies to its many projects aimed at sustainable environments, sustainable prosperity and sustainable municipal services. Diverse municipalities and jurisdictions, each proud of their respective unique identities, have committed to work in cooperative partnerships on common issues to improve the delivery of municipal services to residents and businesses, enhance regional prosperity and protect the natural environments upon which we depend.

The region is recognized as an outstanding place to live and do business and is acclaimed for its social, economic and environmental sustainability. The regional vision supports local autonomy while emphasizing that local goals can often best be facilitated through regional cooperative approaches. The vision encourages regional thinking within the context of local decision-making.
